Holiday Inn Express Leland - Wilmington Area by IHG

We had no problems having our dog with us while we stayed the weekend, which I deeply appreciated. The room was spacious and clean. Any time I tried to talk to any of the staff, they had no idea what I was saying. I didn't know what they said either, which wasn't much. So, be ready to use hand gestures if u only know English and you need anything small. Also, I don't appreciate them banging on the door 20 minutes before you're supposed to be gone... Acting like you're trying to over stay or something. Or maybe it was the language barrier .... Not sure. The pool is very small. The pictures are misleading.

Liz and Tommy = best! I am a traveling nurse and pain in the tush wherever I go, butt Liz and Tommy were sweet and patient with me when I checked in. I personally prefer the IHG brand OVER the across the street hotel (BW) Room was noisy this time around but there was a wedding party so congrats to them! Ice machine out on 2nd AND 3rd floor is very inconvenient:-/ (Ps:The lobby attendants are also soo friendly here, breakfast is cute with healthy options) Keepers all around! Thanks IHG! I Vincent Parker have really enjoyed the stay in spite what it was for first meal of the day started with Mrs Barbara who have done a remarkable job between her and Chase who did a wonderful job to keep everyone happy and (full) then the smile that Bentley and the Job she holds encounters a lot of work for one person to have but during my stay she handled it very well and you guys keep up the good work and God bless you guys forever i can not forget Tommy who comes into work and that is what he does until he moves to do something else Barbara, Bentley, Chase, Tommy leads a very important Crew here at this Hotel then you have Chelsey and Liz holding it down like a business supposed to be ran i would love to work here myself

I traveled from Asheville to attend my best friend’s baby’s first birthday and chose this hotel because it was conveniently located near both the party venue and their home. The front desk staff was friendly upon arrival, and the room was clean and exactly as expected. Breakfast was plentiful, and the staff working that area were courteous and welcoming. You never quite know what to expect, especially with mixed reviews, but I would highly recommend this hotel if you’re staying in the area.

Was pretty good stay overall. The front desk lady couldn't figure out how to use a different card than the one I booked with and she seemed to be under the influence of something. Check-in took about 45 minutes. Other than that, the hotel was clean and in a great location. Breakfast was pretty good. There was enough Parking for the guests that were staying on a Thursday evening.

Chase handled the breakfast area when we were staying at the hotel. He was courteous, helpful and very pleasant each time we met with him. He is an asset to the hotel staff. G. Geraci

I had the very best experience at this location. First, this Holiday Inn Express is dog friendly. Second, the location is perfect for getting to downtown Wilmington and to Wrightsville Beach. The breakfast is very nice with quite a variety of choices. The room was spacious and clean. The bed was very comfortable and I slept well. There were lots of folks staying at the location but there were no noise issues at all. Tommy was awesome on the front desk! He was super professional and friendly. Jamie was also wonderful at the front desk. She was personable and efficient in the tasks presented to her. I commend management on top notch personnel choices to be the face of your organization. I will stay with you many times in my future travels to this area because of your personnel.
